Employee referrals have become one of the most effective strategies in modern recruitment, and Odoo 18 takes this to the next level. As an Odoo Consultant, I’ve seen how the enhanced Referral module not only simplifies the hiring process but also motivates employees by rewarding them for bringing in top talent from their networks.
The Odoo 18 Referral module introduces an intuitive and gamified experience, allowing employees to earn badges, points, and rewards for every successful referral. The interactive dashboard gives a clear overview of all referral activities, including new submissions, applications in progress, and completed hires, making it easier for HR teams and managers to monitor and act quickly.
Setting Up Referral Rewards in Odoo 18
To get started, create or select an existing job position in the Recruitment module. From there, you can assign referral points, define the hiring stage considered a success, and even assign different point values for each stage of the recruitment pipeline. This flexibility makes the referral program more engaging and rewarding.
Employees can easily share job openings using the “Copy Link” option from the dashboard. Once candidates apply through the referral link, the recruiter can track applications in the Recruitment module. As the application progresses through stages, referral points are automatically added to the employee’s account.
Tracking Rewards and Badges
Employees can view their accumulated points, badges, and successful referrals directly from the dashboard. When a candidate is finally hired, all points are confirmed, and the employee is rewarded accordingly. This transparent and gamified approach not only motivates staff but also strengthens the organization’s recruitment pipeline.
Odoo 18’s Referral module makes hiring collaborative and rewarding, encouraging employees to become active contributors in talent acquisition while enjoying the benefits of recognition and incentives.
